Event overview
This series will be divided into two parts: an "open rehearsal" where you can see young and experienced musicians creating music together, and a "main performance" (you can choose to attend only one of them). At the end of every performance, there will be a "conversation time" between the audience and the musicians, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful time that is different from the performance. We look forward to welcoming everyone, from those well versed in music to beginners, to this opportunity to experience the charm and joy of chamber music to the fullest.
View MoreThis project aims to encourage the musical growth of young duo artists selected through auditions through collaboration between Music Dialogue Artistic Director and viola player Heiichiro Oyama, violinist Kyoko Takezawa, and pianist Haruko Ueda, who are all world-class performers with a wealth of musical experience and experience, and to explore the "Duo," the smallest unit of an ensemble.
View MoreThis program provides an opportunity for participants to experience the process of music creation at an international level by performing chamber music with Heiichiro Oyama (Artistic Director of Music Dialogue), a conductor and violist who has served as music director and principal player at various orchestras and music festivals around the world and who has also mentored many world-class performers for many years.
View MoreWith the aim of discovering young performers in the Kansai region, Music Dialogue also launched a chamber music academy in Kyoto in 2021. By providing a rare opportunity in the Kansai region to learn chamber music in depth, we hope to create an opportunity for young performers to take a big leap forward.
View MoreThe more you learn about Western classical music, the more you discover that there are many hidden "whys" in it. This series explores with various guests the opportunity to go "one step further" and learn about the social background in which famous pieces were born and the everyday thoughts of composers, which cannot be seen just by reading sheet music or music books.
View MoreAt Music Dialogue, we also focus on collaborative projects with other fields in order to broaden the horizons of musicians. We cooperate in planning events incorporating chamber music hosted by organizations and companies, such as art galleries and museums. We hope that everyone will be able to experience music in a way that is different from a regular concert.
