Kitagawa Chisa

She won first place at the 89th Japan Music Competition and four special awards, including the Iwatani Award (Audience Award). The following year, she won second place at the Spivakov International Violin Competition (Russia). Starting with three wins at the youngest age, she has won first prizes and grand prizes at 2009 international competitions since 11. She has performed with many orchestras both in Japan and abroad. CHANEL Pygmalion Days 2019 Artist. Music Dialogue Artist. Received the Ogaki City Cultural Encouragement Award and the Gifu Prefecture Arts and Culture Encouragement Award. After graduating from the Tokyo University of the Arts Music High School, she completed the master's course at the Toho Gakuen School of Music. She made her debut at the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam) in 2023 and is currently active in a wide range of fields both in Japan and abroad. She is loaned a Guadagnini 1779 by the Ueno Takashi Foundation and the RT Foundation (Washington).
