Chika Edanami

After graduating from the Toho Girls' High School Music Department, she graduated from the Toho University Music Department. She won first place in the junior high school division of the 52nd All Japan Student Music Competition.
Winner of the 24th Michelangelo Abbado International Violin Competition and Sonata Prize. Joined the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra in 2006. After leaving the orchestra, he has been active in a wide range of fields as a soloist, chamber musician, and concertmaster. He has performed at the Miyazaki International Music Festival, La Folle Journée, and Tokyo Spring Music Festival, among others. He has been invited as a guest concertmaster by the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, and others. He has performed with the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra and the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. He has released three albums to date. He is a Music Dialogue artist.
