Haruko Ueda

Associate Professor of Chamber Music and Associate Professor of Piano at the Paris Conservatoire. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School. Won the Long-Thibaud Competition in 1986. Active as a soloist and chamber musician. Performers with whom she has collaborated include JJ Kantorow, A. Dumay, S. Rousseff, Mie Kobayashi, and Natsumi Tamai (Vn). Recordings include "Dohnanyi, Enesco Violin Sonatas," "Enesco, Busoni Violin Sonatas," and "Complete Beethoven Violin Sonatas" with Kantorow on ALM, which were selected by Record Geijutsu Shimbun. In February 2019, she received the Himeji City Cultural Arts Award. In 2, her book "Applicable! Haruko Ueda's Live Lessons: Play, Listen, and Enjoy Learning Chamber Music" was released by Ongaku No Tomosha.
