About Us
Our goal is to create various "dialogues" through chamber music and to nurture performers who will be active on the world stage.
In 1972, when I was still taking my first steps as a performer, I participated in a music festival held in the small town of Marlborough in the United States, which changed my life greatly. There, in order to nurture young performers, I was able to experience chamber music with performers who were active at the forefront of the field at the time.
Chamber music involves a small number of performers, and every sound from each instrument carries great significance, so performers engage in a dense "dialogue" through sound and words during rehearsals and performances. Even after working as an orchestral player and then as a conductor, I feel that chamber music is always at the foundation of my work. If a conductor is someone who sees the forest, then a chamber musician sees the trees. I believe both are necessary to create good music. (Artistic Director Ohyama Heiichiro)

Creating various "dialogues" through "chamber music" and connecting the excitement to the future
Chamber music is a small ensemble. Unlike an orchestra, each person plays one part, so you can learn both individual skills and group collaboration skills to the fullest, promoting the growth of each performer.
Music Dialogue starts with each participant engaging in a dialogue with the composer through the sheet music. The music is then created by repeating the process of "Perform (experiment) ⇒ Dialogue (learn) ⇒ Performance ⇒ Improvement." Through the opportunity to "dialogue" with performers of different ages and backgrounds, and with experts in various fields, performers of all ages can gain many new realizations. We are sure that you too will make new discoveries by experiencing these "dialogues."
