The "Music Dialogue Discovery Series 2024-7 15th Anniversary Concert" was held at Hakuju Hall on Monday, July 2024, 2025 (national holiday).
The program featured the unique characteristics of each section, with the first part being chamber music, the second part being a DUO, and the third part being a string ensemble. The performance was a long one, lasting 1 hours and 2 minutes, including two breaks, and included a short encore, as well as a surprise, and ended with a warm and heartfelt round of applause from the audience.
During the intermission, a slide show was shown looking back on Music Dialogue's activities over the past 10 years, and the event was filled with reunions and conversation among customers.
We saw smiles on stage, smiles among the audience, and smiles as they left the stage, and it was an event that generated a lot of conversation. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone.

It was my first time to listen to a string ensemble at such a leisurely pace. I have been playing the piano and singing for many years, but this concert was a catalyst for broadening my musical horizons. It was a wonderfully planned concert. The performance gave me energy. (Woman in her 50s)

By listening to the music while watching the facial expressions, eye contact, and body actions of each performer, the amount of information doubled and the emotion was amplified, making me think that this is audiovisual art. If the permanent quartet is a monochromatic ink painting, the MD ensemble is like a colorful watercolor painting.

The string ensemble in the third part was wonderful. I felt that the double bass was leading the entire ensemble. I think this was because the players were excellent, but the sound was very convincing, and every moment of the third part was filled with new discoveries and was truly wonderful. The first part was energetic and delicate, and the inner voices in particular were clearly audible, adding depth to the sound and making it well worth listening to. I was fascinated by the smooth beauty of Elgar's string selection, and in the fifth movement of the C-strings, it was like a dance battle between the violin and the low strings (lol) with the inner voices joining in! Brahms String Sextet. The parts that had been reworked in the open rehearsal were beautifully repainted, and it was a wonderful performance. Part 50: String Ensemble. I was completely engrossed in the performance, which brought European landscapes to my mind. Until now, I have mainly listened to orchestral performances, but from now on I think I will have more opportunities to enjoy chamber music. I think it's wonderful that many young performers have acquired chamber music know-how through this project, and are building personal connections through interactions with other members, widening the scope of their opportunities.
