MD artist Suzutaro Kaneko will be performing at the "Darkness Concert" co-hosted by Dialogue Japan Society and Music Dialogu.
It's sold out.

"Cello in the Dark"
~This is the first collaboration project between Dialogue in the Dark, which creates opportunities for equal encounters and dialogue, and Music Dialogue, which creates spaces for various dialogues through music~
The kanji characters "dark" and "yami" both contain the character "sound."
Although music is meant to be enjoyed with the ears, at a typical concert, everyone listens to the performance while taking in a lot of information visually.
In the "Darkness Concert," you can listen to music played by a single cello in "100% pure darkness" that completely blocks out light.
What does it feel like to listen to music in complete darkness?
Then, when you listen to it in a light environment, what changes and how?
How much of a difference does it make for performers?
I would like everyone to experience this together and discuss their discoveries.
Leading your musical experience in the dark will be the highly successful cellist, Kaneko Suzutaro.
This project was born out of inspiration that arose from Kaneko's own experience with Dialogue in the Dark.
As we plan this event, we are excited to find out what kind of "sounds" await us in the darkness.
We hope that many people will come and experience this one-day-only event.
